DD floppy disk formatter .BAT (batch) file (1 Kbyte) Kenny Floyd has provided this little program which allows Windows XP users to format disks in DD (double-density) mode which the Atari ST understands (useful if you download files from the Internet, such as this site, on a PC, and want to transfer them over to your Atari ST). Windows XP has no option for formatting DD floppy disks, hence the need for this program. Just insert a 720 Kbyte floppy disk in the PC's disk drive, start the program and follow the instructions on the screen. |
